Alumnae Community

As we like to say, “Once a DeSoto girl, always a DeSoto girl!” This community of women is something special to be a part of, and we want to offer you ways to stay connected - both with Camp and with each other. Camp DeSoto continues to thrive because of the prayers you all pray, the connections you make, and the shared history upon which each new summer is built. We want to keep that connection strong and also offer you ways to reconnect with that feeling you always had at Camp - your truest childhood self, loved deeply by God, belonging in a community, and sharing the best of your gifts with others.

Want to stay in touch with Camp? Interested in weekends at Camp or other alumnae gatherings? Create an account with us so you’ll never miss a Desoto event. Already have an account? Click here to log in !

We’re collecting phots for our archives, and we’d love to see your Camp pics from way back when! Click below to upload images to a shared folder (or to see what others have contributed!)

Snail mail is still en vogue at Camp DeSoto. We’d love to get a letter from you! Tell us about your favorite camp memories, send us copies of your old photos, or just let us know what DeSoto means to you. (Emailed letters are great, too!)

We’re working on developing more ways for you to engage with Camp, even after your camping years are behind you. For now, we want to make sure we have your most current contact information so we can keep you up-to-date on any new happenings that develop. We’d also love to hear from you! DeSoto girls from every decade hold the true memories of Camp, and we want to gather together to collect and share those memories. If you have digital files of photos, letters, Camp newspapers, or other memorobilia that you wouldn’t mind sharing, please upload them to the dropbox folder we created (see the link above.) We’d be so grateful to add them to our archives of Camp history!

If you don’t want to figure out dropbox, just email them to us. Or, if your photos are prints and do not exist in digital form, you’re welcome to send them in the mail - we will even scan them and send back your orignals (though please be aware that this does involve some level of trust!)

We are always mindful of the long history of Camp DeSoto and the legacy of DeSoto girls and women. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful community, and as always we love to see it grow.

Thanks for staying connected to Camp DeSoto and for sharing your memories with us.
