Junior Term
Junior Term is a five-day introduction to Camp DeSoto.
Campers finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades are invited to come practice the camp experience!
It won’t be exactly like First and Second Term, but it will be a preview modified for younger ages. We’ll live by Camp’s rhythms, from Morning Watch to Cabin Devotions, and girls will get to make friends, try lots of camp activities, and practice being away from home.
We hope this experience will be a great opportunity for both campers and their parents to get a feel for what sending her to a 26-day term will be like.

Junior Term Registration will begin September 25, 2023.
Registration will begin at 9 am central time on Monday, September 25th.
The cost of Junior Term is $1500.
To sign up, all you need to do is complete the online application and pay a $500 deposit fee. At the end of the application, just before you submit, you can provide your credit card information for us to securely charge your card. And that’s it! You’ll get an email confirming receipt of your application shortly after you submit it. Then it may take a few days for us to process the applications we receive. within 2-3 days, you’ll receive an official registration confirmation e-mail.

Junior Camp Tuition Payment Policies:
The deposit to secure a spot in Junior Camp is $500, due upon registration. The deposit payment (minus $100 for processing) will be refundable if you cancel before February 1st. We must receive a deposit payment within 10 days of registration to continue holding the camper’s spot.
A second payment of $500 is due by February 1st. The cancellation fee after February 1st is $500.
The third and final payment of $500 is due May 1st. No refund will be given for cancellations after May 1st.
Payments can be made by credit card online or you can call the camp office to provide your credit card information over the phone. You can also pay by e-check or by mailing a paper check to Camp DeSoto, P.O. Box 432, Mentone, AL 35984.
