Out-of-Camp Trips

Our Camp property is beautiful, and it’s surrounded by some of the most majestic forests, rivers, and mountains in the South.

Trip Day

From rafting the Ocoee River to exploring Rock City and the Tennessee Aquarium, DeSoto girls get to experience the stunning natural beauty of Lookout Mountain and the surrounding area. Trip Day is one of the most anticipated events each term!

2nd – 3rd Grades – Rock City, Tennessee Aquarium, IMAX Theater, and Clumpies Ice Cream

4th Grade – Georgia Aquarium and The World of Coke

Age Group Trips

Each age group is also offered an additional adventure trip during the month, introducing girls to new and fun ways to enjoy the outdoors. Because these trips are unique to a specific age group, girls have something to look forward to and grow into each year of Camp.

6th Grade – a day trip to swim in Little River Canyon

7th Grade – rappelling near DeSoto Falls

9th Grade – a 5-mile bike lunch trip
