Morning Watch 4/7/20

by on

Julie Weaver shares a Morning Watch with us this morning from her porch in Nashville, Tennessee. Julie is a Second Term Head Counselor, longtime DeSoto girl, Mom of two college-age Camp DeSoto girls, and a therapist in Nashville.

On Sunday Mary Vassar reminded us of the quote that hangs in the Dining Hall: “Words are so powerful they should only be used to bless, heal, prosper.” Today, Julie shares with us some of the words that are sustaining her through this time of uncertainty - the words she is holding tightly, even as she has had to loosen her metaphorical grip on other plans and expectations.

“All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.” - Julian of Norwich

Enjoy spending the quiet minutes at the beginning of your morning with Julie. I hope you can hear the birds chirping wherever you are.

We’ve come to the end of our line dances! Thank you so much for dancing with us! It has been so much fun.

Have a good day and give a good day!
