A Moveable Feast

A Moveable Feast is a retreat offered every other fall (in rotation with Camp Take Me Away) for women ages 18 and beyond. The name, borrowed from Ernest Hemingway’s book of the same title, refers to the memory of an important place that stays with a person wherever she may go. Camp DeSoto is just such a place for many women, and we hope that it can become that for many more.

This retreat is designed to offer women removal from their daily routines and time in which to be intentional with God. No prior experience with Camp DeSoto is required, and we welcome all who are in need of simple living, a slower pace, and thoughtful conversation with other God-seeking women.
